Migration

Leave Mindbody without losing your members or your history.

Export the reports Mindbody already gives you, upload them one at a time, and read a preview before a single row is written. Kyndra never signs in to your Mindbody account, so nothing changes there until you cancel it yourself.

Exactly what moves, and what doesn’t.

Every migration page promises it moves everything. This one lists what Mindbody’s own reports actually carry, next to what you rebuild in Kyndra, so you can plan the afternoon before you start it.

Moves from your export

Members and contact details

Client ID, first and last name, email, phone and status are pre-mapped from the Active Clients export before you see them.

Your class schedule

The Class Schedule export becomes classes in Kyndra. Repeat sessions collapse into one class that recurs on the days it runs.

Attendance history

Visit History is matched to the right member and class, so your retention reporting does not restart at zero.

Rows you have already imported

Counted as already present rather than written twice, so re-uploading a corrected file is safe.

Needs a decision from you

Tuition plans and class packs

Mindbody’s Pricing Options export is not imported. You build plans and packs fresh in Billing, priced the way you would price them today.

Active memberships

Kyndra reads which members hold an active membership and flags them. The plans themselves are rebuilt in Billing and members re-join them.

Instructors on your classes

Imported classes arrive with no instructor assigned — the name in the CSV is informational only. Assign staff and confirm times in Schedule.

Date of birth and emergency contacts

Mindbody’s free mailing-list export leaves them out. They come across only from Mindbody’s paid Subscriber Data Export, which Kyndra reads too.

Cards on file

Card details never move between systems. Members authorize a card once through your portal.

Rows that could not be placed

Listed with a reason and downloadable as a CSV. Fix them and re-upload — nothing is dropped silently.

Four steps. You stay in control of all four.

  1. Export from Mindbody

In Mindbody Business: Reports → Mailing Lists → Active Clients for members, Class Schedule for your timetable, Visit History for attendance. Export each to CSV. Kyndra never signs in to Mindbody — it reads the files you upload and nothing else.

    Mindbody

  2. Upload one file at a time

Import → Mindbody, then drop a file. Each one is detected on drop, and the columns are pre-mapped from Client ID, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone and Date of Birth.

    Import

  3. Check the preview before it writes

You see the mapped rows, the columns you chose to skip and the duplicates already in Kyndra. Nothing is written to your studio until you confirm that screen.

    Import

  4. Read the receipt, then finish setup

Each import ends with what came over, what was already there, and what could not be placed — grouped by reason, with the failed rows downloadable as a CSV. Then assign instructors and build your billing.

    Schedule & Billing

Upload the export. Read the preview. Then decide.

Three days free, and one price for every studio — there is no tier to outgrow. Your Mindbody account keeps running until you cancel it yourself, and Kyndra is the same: cancel anytime in Settings after review and confirmation. Running four locations or more? Same product, and you add them yourself.
