Setting up your studio’s calendar

How the calendar reads: week vs day, the 24-hour grid, today’s class card, and how to find a specific date fast.

Two views, one source of data

The calendar opens to Week view by default. Switch to Day with the toggle above the grid. Both pull from the same source — adding a class in one view shows up in the other immediately, no refresh.

The grid is 24 hours

A midnight pilates class is rare but real. The grid covers the full 24 hours of every day so nothing hides. When you open the page, the view auto-scrolls to one hour before your earliest class — if your first class is at 6:00 AM, the grid lands on 5:00 AM. No more scrolling up from midnight every morning.

Today's class card

Above the week grid, the TODAY card lists every class happening today with the instructor, the room, and the current count. Tap any row to jump straight to Check-in. The card width matches the week grid below, so the page reads as one continuous surface.

Jumping to a date

The header carries three things: the visible date range, prev/next arrows, and a TODAY button that snaps back to this week. To jump further, click the date — a small calendar picker opens and lets you pick any month.

Making a class

The + New class button is in the top-right. The form is the same shape as the slide-over in adding your first class. One click, one screen.

Density (compact vs comfortable)

The density toggle in the top-right of the calendar collapses row heights so more of the day fits on one screen. Useful when you've got multiple classes per hour. Your choice persists across sessions.

What the colors mean

  • Sage rail on the left of the row — the class is active and on schedule.
  • Ochre rail — a sub is needed (instructor marked unavailable).
  • Coral rail — the class is cancelled.

If a class is full, a FULL pill appears next to the count. If it's almost full, the bottom progress bar fills toward sage. If it's empty close to start, the bar fills toward ochre — a soft nudge that you can send a fill-empty-class invite before the hour.
